The Romin EVO was a popular saddle in the Specialized lineup that needed an update to improve its performance and overall aesthetics.

There were three main goals during this project:

• Widen the central cutout based on rider feedback and our pressure mapping research

• Shorten the nose

• Update the overall design to be more in-line with Specialized’s evolved design language.
