Working with a team of engineers and product managers, this project started with the challenge to integrate a powerful electric motor and 40 Li-Ion cells into Specialized’s existing Stumpjumper frame platform in the most integrated and lightest way possible.
The Original Test Mule
This is where the project began - a rough e-bike prototype that showed the benefits of a pedal-assist system. Our goal was to create the most integrated and best-performing ebike in the world.
